Frontier Americana of Fargo :: About

Frontier Americana of Fargo was founded in 1997. Jim Jasken and Pete Erickson combined their long standing “from home” catalog businesses and opened a retail location. Historic down town Fargo had “gone to seed” so it wasn’t hard to find a place to start their Gallery. In 2005, Bob “Mike” Richard joined the mix.
Since then Jim has retired (much to everyone’s chagrin), Mike has decided to work from home, and the Gallery has moved to a location with triple the original floor space. I’ve been happy to watch down town Fargo blossom into an award winning, vibrant neighborhood featuring galleries, museums, destination antique & boutique shops and restaurants.
The gallery consistently stocks a large selection of antique and collectable firearms, Americana,(cowboy, Native American, trapper, buffalo hunter, 18th and 19th century U.S. military) and western art (both classic & contemporary). I strive for complete satisfaction for my clients and I believe my 30+ years experience enables me to meet this goal.
Please, browse my online Gallery or, if it’s more to your liking, subscribe to my hard copy catalog. And, by all means, visit our Gallery. We are located at 114 Broadway Suite G6—The Black Building—Down Town, Fargo.
Best regards,
Pete
