.45-90, 30 inch barrel, very good strong bore, 80% thinning plum blue on barrel, block and receiver about the same, this is one of the 1st model carbines that were purchased from the government, rebarreled, wood cut down and sold thru various distributers, this one has a slightly longer "schnoble" fore arm than most, a heavier barrel and is the only one I have seen in .45-90, has the usual buckhorn sight and all the attributes of a 1st model carbine.
